This is for all the Brownie+Cheesecake lovers. I made this heavenly, dense, fudgy goodness with bittersweet chocolate and cream cheese. When I had a box of cream cheese lying in my fridge, I decided to bake them. It's a deadly combo if you are into heavy, dark, bitter desserts.
This brownie has that perfect crackly top with a fudgy centre. And it's gluten-free!
It's a super easy, one-bowl recipe. That means no mess in the kitchen and no dirty dishes. With one bowl, whisk, spatula and a couple of ingredients in hand you can make this ultimate brownie.
You don't have to be a pro at baking to make this recipe. It doesn't require any fancy technique, ingredient or equipments. Dump everything in one bowl mix and bake!
There are three steps to it. I'll be explaining all the steps in detail, below.
I used 55% bitter chocolate, you can use whatever chocolate you like.
Let's get the recipe for this!!
Ingredients
Brownie
150 g Bittersweet chocolate
1/3rd Cup Butter
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/3rd Cup Oats flour
2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
Cream cheese topping
1 Egg
1 Cup cream cheese
1/2 Cup Sugar
Dash of Vanilla
Directions
Melt the chocolate, sugar and butter in a big bowl on a double boiler or microwave. Let it cool and add eggs one at a time. Sift the flour and cocoa powder and fold gently. You don't want to incorporate air in your brownie as we want them dense.
To make the cream cheese, beat the cheese and sugar for 3-4 minutes, add egg and vanilla.
Pour the brownie batter into a baking pan and roughly add blops of the cream cheese on top and swirl it all around. Bake it for 20-22 minutes at @170 C
Let it cool completely and serve with your fav icecream/ whipped cream/ cherry sauce or just like that.
This dessert satisfyes your deepest chocolate cravings and makes you feel in heaven!
