Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes

Rustic, vintage, Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes with real strawberries.


I don't like artificial flavourings. They taste synthetic like I'm chewing nylon.


For me, the alternative is real fruits. Either freeze-dried or fresh. Fresh Strawberry dessert is the perfect way to end this strawberry season.


Make these on the weekend or right away!


Here's what you'll need-


𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

1.5 cup flour


1 teaspoon baking powder


1/4 teaspoon salt


1/2 cup unsalted butter, soft and cubed


3/4 cup granulated sugar


2 large eggs, room temperature


2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract


1/4 cup milk, room temperature


1/2 cup finely chopped fresh strawberries


𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱


Place cupcake liners in your cupcake tray


Pre-heat the oven @180°C


Mix all the dry ingredients together.


Add the soft butter and mix with a fork.


Add milk and fold until combined. Don't mix too much.


Pour the batter evenly into cupcake liners


Bake for 16-20 minutes or until a knife/skewer comes out clean.


Server with fresh whipped cream or cream cheese.
