Eggless Walnut Cake

It's one recipe people are always asking me to share. I shared it on my IG long back. This eggless walnut cake is soft, tender, nutty and lite.


They say eggless cakes don't have the same texture and taste. They are wrong.




Here's how you can get the spongiest and softest cake without egg-


Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup castor sugar

2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1 cup curd

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup crushed walnuts


Method:


1. Pre-heat the oven at 175°

2. Whisk curd, oil and add baking soda.

3. Add all the dry ingredients together apart from the walnuts. Take 2 tbsp dry mix and add it to the walnuts.

4. Mix both wet and dry ingredients together. Add walnuts at the end and fold.


Bake in 2 6' pans or 1 10' pan for 25-30 minutes.
